Exceptional

We were lucky to get a room on a busy holiday weekend during whale watching season. We had a spacious two-bedroom suite with a huge bathroom. Gail was so nice and helpful. She made us reservations for dinner and told us where to go for the best whale viewing. The whales normally can be seen from the window of the hotel but they had moved to the other side of the bay that day. I highly recommend the La Fontaine for a beach/whale watching weekend.

We were quickly shown around and then left in privacy which we appreciated! Everything in place and beautifully arranged room that we really enjoyed We could come and go as we pleased Breakfast was fabulous, we will recommend to friends and if we ever go to Hermanus we would like to stay there again!

The setting was beautiful - with bedroom and balcony overlooking the ocean. The pool and garden were lovely, away from the crowds, but the guest house was easily accessible to all the restaurants and activities, without having to use a car. The cliff walks were spectacular. My mother and I spent a really special weekend there and it would be my first choice, without a doubt, if I had to go to Hermanus again. The hostess was lovely, friendly, and accommodating without being intrusive. The breakfasts were the best I have ever experienced in bed-and-breakfast accommodations. Top notch accommodation!

Das Guest House ist wunderbar am Meer gelegen, so dass man zumindest von Juli bis Dezember die Wale sogar vom Zimmer aus beobachten kann.

Fabulous

Ein schönes Haus direkt an der Küste (über die Straße) ziemlich im Zentrum von Hermanus. Alles was man benötigt ist da und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Haus ist etwas älter, insofern sind die Zimmer unterschiedlich, zum Teil nicht ganz so groß und die Treppe ist etwas schmal und steil.
